English in Australia

English in Australia is the journal of the Australian Association for the Teaching of English (AATE).

We welcome articles in any field of language and literacy education. The name of the journal is in no way parochial. Articles will be considered from anywhere which professes English as mother tongue or second language. We are happy to receive contributions in a range of forms. There is no required academic genre for contributions. For further information see the Guidelines for Author section.

In its journal rankings released early in 2010, the Australian Research Council has confirmed English in Australia as an 'A' ranked journal.
